Sail boat cruising is a wonderful way to travel the world. It can also be a very dangerous way to travel. You can have a well built boat, all the safety gear you can imagine, a competent crew, and still get into a whole lot of trouble out there. Even if you have all the technology working for you with weather charts and maybe an onshore router, you can still get onto a mess out there.
