It Was Five Years Ago
Been blogging for five years and the incident that started it all is right here. Two sailors sailing under the Gate get too close to the south tower and next thing you know they are surfing the waves and sinking their boat. This is not the normal scene out there. This was a big wave day and they were not paying attention and got too close to shore and shallower water. The boat was recovered and later sold on Craigslist.
