R2AK Start is June 14

The Race to Alaska is next week. This is my favorite race due to the inginuity that is used to travel the 750 miles from Victoria, Canada to Ketchikan, Alsaka. Some travel by sailboat and some use other craft including but not limited to canoes, paddle boards, row boats, and more. The winner gets $10,000 and second place is a set of steak knives. The race is known for its sometimes rigorous conditions and the spirit of adventure it inspires. There are no motors allowed! A few years ago they made a full length movie about the race that can be seen only on the Youtube channel itself.
