JFK AC Speech 1962



ABC archival footage of US president John F Kennedy speaking about Sir Frank Packer's America's Cup challenger Gretel at the 1962 America's Cup dinner given by the Australian Ambassador. Gretel became the first Australian challenger for the America's Cup.

This well known quote is biologically inaccurate, at least comparing today's ocean with our blood. But some say that it is is accurate if one compares ancient oceans existing when humans developed. At any rate, it is a great quote and captures a truth, even if not a biological one. Thanks for sharing the video.
