Here is an easy way to pick up crew and share your passion. Since we have lots of sailing enthusiasts in the Bay Area, there are several Meet Up Groups that have up to 1000 folks looking to go sailing on someone's boat. I put out an invite on Thursday for a sail on Saturday and within a few hours, I have a full boat going out (the platform sends an invite to each member).
