As you know, the AC has four teams for the 36th iteration of the Cup (NZ, UK and 2 USA teams). It will take place in NZ in January and Feb. 2021. Prior to the Cup, the World Series is shaking things up in different locations to promote the next go-round.
2020 ACWS Schedule:
April 23-26 – Cagliari, Italy
June 4-7 – Portsmouth, England
December 17-20 – Auckland, New Zealand
The practice boats are almost 40 feet (12 meters). The actual AC boats will be 75 feet and can hit 35-40 knots. Take a look at the weird and wonderful. Go to the 13 min. mark for the AC boats.
